P3 - Planning Personal Portfolio

In this proposal I will be discussing the creation on my media profile which is in the form of a digital portfolio. The target audience for my website will be potential clients or employers or perhaps for applying to university, with the age range likely being people aged 25 and above, they will also have to be either media professionals or enthusiasts as I will be wanting to sell my skills to them in order to gain their interest. Moreover in terms of psychographics, as the media industry is known to be quite creative and ambitious, it would make sense that mainstreamers or aspirers are the types of people which I will want to make my profile appeal to.

The distribution of my portfolio will be done to any future employers or potential clients as a URL, this will be done either via an email or perhaps by text on specialist applications such as LinkedIn or Indeed in. Or perhaps a paper copy to take into an interview with me as it may make it easier for me to discuss my work.

The contents of my portfolio will be based on the work I have done during my education at Doncaster UTC, this will include my photography work, my web development work, my graphics design work, my short film production work, my unit 26 work and my 3d modelling work. I will also include any forms of documentation or any screenshots of me creating the products to show my wider range of skills.

the format of my portfolio will be in the form of a website, whether I make one myself using CSS, HTML and JavaScript to further add to my portfolio or like most do, use a service such as WIX to make my own website as it will take less time.
